Membership Information
Membership of The Central Welsh Corgi League is not restricted to breeders or exhibitors and we welcome new members.
We have many members who enjoy receiving our regular, quality Newsletter which has content of interest to all 'corgi people' whether they show their dogs or simply enjoy their companionship.

If you are interested in showing your corgi at Open or Championship level, you must be a member of a club such as our Central Welsh Corgi League, before you are able to apply for
NZ Kennel Club membership - also obligatory for breeding or exhibiting.

The League hosts an annual Championship Show (Specialty) and, generally, a second Championship Show is held in its anniversary years (such as the forthcoming 40th Anniversary Show in 2009).

NZKC membership is not necessary to show at Ribbon Parades, which many of our members enjoy.

Several Ribbon Parades are held throughout each year.  Entry in the Breed classes is restricted to non-Champion dogs and member-owned dogs accumulate points on a Points Ladders, competing for the trophies presented at the AGM each year for top-scoring Pembroke, top-scoring Cardigan, Junior Handler & Childer Handler.  The Ribbon Parades can be a lot of fun.
